Chibi-chan passed away Saturday, November 17, 2001. She
had just turned 15 years old in October. She was a very brave girl at
the end and struggled hard to recover from the inner-ear infection that put
her into the hospital Thursday evening. She passed peacefully and comfortably and
got her angel wings at approximately 9:15 Saturday morning. Chibi
had a full and very happy life, and brought happiness and joy to
everyone who knew her. We miss her so much, but she will live forever in
our hearts and memories. She was the sweetest girl, and was a puppy her
entire life. We loved her, but not nearly as much as the love she gave to
us. She is waiting for us inside the gates of Heaven, tail wagging
furiously, waiting to show us all the walking trails and new friends she's made.
Chibi's ashes were laid at her favorite place on Clarke Beach on the East side of Mercer Island. She loved this place and never wanted to come back from the visits there. Now she is in her most happy place whenever she wants to be there. We visit her several times a year and Chibi's spirit is always there, running out on the dock on the lake and waiting for a "good girl" snackie-treat. We will never forget our sweet Chibi-chan. And we will never forget her because she will always be there in her favorite romping place when we visit her. |
